My second graders are beginning their Penguin unit this week. I am really excited because the 2nd Grade teachers have agreed to do a VoiceThread project for the first time! I played around with Tagxedo, and thought it was a nice tool. Over the course of the next week, I am going to have the students go to the SMARTBoard and write a word they have learned about Penguins, and create a class Tagxedo. In the meantime, I used one of the websites we use for resarch to create these two!

Nice Tagxedo Terry. Yesterday a SPED teacher asked if I could take her students on class per week and do some technology projects with them since the opportunity doesn't fit into their every day schedule. They will love this!
