Twitter has surprised me!

I must admit to being the type of person who is somewhat skeptical of new tools.  I am the type of person who prefers to move, and choosing to work at my computer versus gardening or even cleaning doesn't appeal to me in my personal time.   So I really wasn't sure how I was going to feel about Tweeting.  Having several friend on Facebook who post, "am cooking dinner",  "am eating dinner", "am cleaning up from dinner.".....I just thought I would be uninterested.  But, I must admit using Twitter as a personal learning network is very effective.  I have been following freetech4teachers mostly, and I find his posts very informative and succinct.  A recent post on his site about 'Read it Later' is definitely a tool I could see myself using!  Surprise!

Little Bird Tales

I just discovered a really nice site for students k-2.  Little Bird Tales allows students to draw or upload photos, add text, and even narrate with their voices.  The tales can be shared by email, and can be linked to on a website.  Very easy to use!
